Today’s 3 Looks post is slightly different – instead of just one piece worn 3 different ways, I’m wearing a print 3 ways.

I discovered this week that winter clothes are already making their way online, which I think is slightly crazy as we are still right in the swing of summer with 30+ days. It’s up there with hot cross buns appearing in the stores a week after Christmas.

We just need to slow down the merry-go-round and just enjoy what is happening now.

So I was very excited to receive a couple of pieces from Kennedys Boutique new SAHARA NIGHTS COLLECTION this new release contains the most beautiful feminine pieces that are perfect for our Australian weather features include:

  • 100% breathable rayon
  • Linen
  • Loose and flowing
  • Stunning hibiscus print and a colour palette of white and mocha
  • Easy wear mix and match pieces

I’m wearing two pieces from this collection – the Oasis Dress and Sahara Wrap. These look great worn individually or together.

You will notice in all of the below outfits I have kept the shoes and accessories the same – apart from a cute wooden necklace I picked up in China. I have a huge collection of statement necklaces and I quite often just forget to wear them. I usually reach for the same pieces each day no matter what I’m wearing.

For me at the moment these are a few Uberkate pieces that I have collected over the last couple of years. And I will be adding to this collection at the end of the month with a couple of pieces that hubby is giving me for my birthday – no it’s not a surprise I picked them out :-P. If you are looking for something special for a birthday or anniversary present you must check out Uberkate they make the most beautiful personalised name jewellery.

Anyway back to business.

I fell for this Hibiscus print as soon as I saw it on Bev from Iris May Style in the waterfall jacket – see it here

I jumped onto the Kennedys website and I saw the Oasis Dress and Sahara wrap and it was love at first sight. It was like I have a fairy on my shoulder as within an hour an email from the lovely ladies at Kennedys Boutique popped into my in box and asked if I would like to receive these pieces. Oh Yes Please!!

My parcel arrived on the Friday morning and I was wearing the dress by 6pm for our regular date night.

This dress is simply gorgeous it’s flowy, light and drapes beautifully. It has a v-neck (the perfect neck line for me) with buttoned sleeve arms (I do feel more comfortable with a bit of upper arm coverage) and skims over my figure.

Now size wise this is a one size fits most piece – I’m currently a size 12 on the bottom with a 12-14 up top depending on the fit around the chest and I’m approximately 161 cm tall or should I say short. I was worried that length wise this may be too long for me but add a pair of heels and viola its perfect.

The matching wrap is going to be such a versatile addition to my wardrobe – one end has tassels which just elevates it from the norm. I have styled it below with white skinnies, white tank and a straw hat – this is a great weekend look for a day out and as the night cools the wrap will keep you warm.

My favourite way to wear the wrap though would have to be as a belt with the dress – I just love the extra shape and layers it gives to the dress. I also feel this does just make the whole outfit a little dressier.
