3 LOOKS – PRINTED PANTS – ELLA & SUNDAY

I’ve spoken before about the gorgeous local Sunshine Coast brand Ella & Sunday. A brand that was started in 2015 and prides itself on beautiful clothes made from natural fibres.

The linen and cotton fabrics make these clothes perfect for our Australian climate – easy breathable clothes that are made to be worn everyday.

Ella & Sunday have two collections each year – you may remember the autumn/winter collection from a previous post when I took a few pieces with me to New York earlier in the year- read full post here.

I’ve received a few pieces from the new spring/summer collection and let me tell you it’s gorgeous. Full of linen and cotton with blues, whites, reds and pinks and some fabulous new graphic unique prints. One of the things that I love most about E&S is that their prints are unique to them so you are not going to see them on every Tess, Dixie or Harriett.

Today I’m showcasing the Ivy Pant in daisy print $119.95 with a 3 LOOKS post just to show how versatile these pants are and how easy they will slot into your existing wardrobe.

The Ivy Pant is the same design as my favourite Sydney Jeans – a 7/8 length with a tailored waist and tapered legs. A flattering fit and style for any women’s figure.

These pants come in a couple of different prints something that will appeal to all tastes. Below I’m showing the other two prints – Hothouse Flowers Print and Fallen Leaves Print. And if you love the any of these prints but don’t want a pant check out the rest of the Spring/Summer Hothouse Flowers Collection as these prints also come in shorts, skirts, tops and dresses.

LOOK 1

It’s turned super hot here in Brisbane this week and I think it will be a very very warm summer.

So the fact that these pants are made from a soft breathable cotton poplin means they will be perfect to wear in the heat. Sometimes in the summer months you don’t always want to wear skirt or dresses and shorts are not always appropriate you need or want a long pant. The Ivy Pant is the perfect alternative.

I have  tried for outfits 1 & 3 to add pieces that are already in my wardrobe and what I think most of you will also have already. The reason behind this is so that you can see that you only need to add one piece to freshen up summer wardrobe. You don’t need to spend lots of money on all the new styles in store, a couple of new statement pieces in bold prints will transform it.

I added a cute white lace top, a pair of wedges and a straw boater – making this a great outfit for a weekend lunch date.

LOOK 2

As I work in an office full time I’m always keen to make a piece work appropriate – I spend half my life there and I want to wear fabulous clothes.

The Ivy Pants were so EASY to make work ready – I just added the Ella & Sunday Anita Linen Shirt $139.95 and my favourite red heels 👠.

Let’s just talk about this shirt for a minute – it’s a cotton linen fabric with a traditional Chinese style collar and a high low hem (giving superior butt coverage). Easy to up dress up or down – they would look fabulous with a pair of denim shorts or even a white fitted skirt.

It comes in 3 colours- French navy | pale pink | sailor navy. All gorgeous spring/summer colours which would be a great addition to S/S wardrobe.

LOOK 3

What 3 LOOK post would be complete without a white tee and lace up outfit.

These two items are my weekend wardrobe staples, they are comfortable and practical for my busy life. I’m always looking for bottoms that work with them.

The Ivy Pant is perfect accompaniment with its relaxed fit and 7/8 length just a little cooler. I’ve turned up the hem in all my photos as I like to show my ankles as they are the skinniest part of my leg but they also look great as is.

I’ve had so much fun styling these pants in 3 different ways and can’t wait to find a few more in the next couple of months.
