It’s no secret that I love wearing red – it’s my happy colour.
So when I saw this gorgeous red skirt – Midi Plisse Skirt $129.95 from Witchery Midi Plisse Skirt $129.95 I knew it had to come home with me.
Not only is it red but its also pleated one of my current favourite trends, what more could I want. I decided it was the perfect skirt for a 3 Looks post – I found this skirt so easy to style, I had so many ideas of how to wear it.
My first look which I wore to church on Sunday to my little grandsons baptism was with a Witchery Slouchy V Neck Knit $149.95. This was actually what the skirt was styled with on the Witchery website but I actually purchased the knit first and didn’t really think of wearing it with the skirt until Sunday morning when I was trying to decide what to wear.
I realise that pink and red is not everyone’s cup of tea but I actually love the combination – it was the colour of my wedding flowers and I love the contrast. Accessories where kept very simple with nude heels picked up from Wittner on sale from DFO.
My second look is my go to look for any skirt(an oldie from Sussan Fashion) – white tee and denim jacket. This time I did mix it up slightly by adding a white denim jacket *instead of my usual blue. And I had to add my Frankie 4 NAT’s – the perfect weekend casual look.
And lastly my third look was keeping it all the same colour to try and give me a bit of length. This Witchery Cut Out Shoulder Longsleeve Top $69.95 is great for getting the shoulders out without wearing having to battle with the strapless bra.
How would you style this skirt?
