This time last week I was rushing around still trying to finalise what clothes I was going to take with me to Sydney for a mini holiday with hubby.
I over-packed as I always do – we where only going for 5 days but my suitcase would work for some one that was off on a month of travel across multiple continents and seasons. It was so heavy it may have caused hubby to throw his back out lugging it in and out of taxi’s.
The only item that I was certain that was I taking on our holiday was the new Bohemian Traders Distressed Boyfriend Jean.
I actually wore them 2 out of the 5 days – so most of what was in my suitcase was really unnecessary but a girl does need options (that’s my excuse).
I have a huge jeanrobe with multiple types of denim in various colours, washes and sizes.
But I only have one pair of boyfriend jeans so when the gorgeous people at Bohemian Traders contacted me and asked if I would like to try a pair of their new range of boyfriend jeans I jumped at the chance.
Now boyfriend jeans can sometimes be a bit tricky for me to wear – I’m slightly vertically challenged (161cm) and tend to carry any extra weight around my thighs and butt. Anything too bulky or loose can make me look short and wide.
My trick for boyfriend jeans is to buy a size that is slightly fitted around the waist, butt and thighs – this is a bit different to the how they are pictured on the models but this works well for me. I get to have the comfort and relaxed nature of a boyfriend jean as they aren’t super tight like a skinny but they also flatter my shape.
Boyfriend jeans are the ultimate jean for off duty dressing they work perfectly with a pair of kicks, a white tee and bomber jacket. This is how I wore mine for travelling and also for the 3 1/2 hour walk around the beautiful Sydney Harbour.
But you don’t need to only wear them for off duty dressing add a pair of heels and an off the shoulder top and they work equally well for a more dressy occasion.

For me white jeans are a summer must have (actually I wear white jeans all year round), so the I was extremely excited when Bohemian Traders also released the Boyfriend Jean in White. These are firmly at the top of my BT wish list – it’s quite long I’m not going to lie.
