Spring is just around the corner and if you’re like me and live in Brisbane we are already nearly around the bend.

Spring dressing is fun and quite often is full of pretty dresses with floral prints.

Now I love a pretty dress as much as the next girl but I’m also not ready just yet of getting rid of the military style blazer that I have been loving this winter.

On the weekend I wore my black Witchery Military Blazer with a pair of distressed jeans, Polka Dot blouse and a tan heels to my son-in-laws 30th birthday party. This look is my never fail party look – seems to work for any occasion as it the perfect balance between dressy and casual.

Witchery Style Blazer – this style is no longer available similiar one here | Sass Luca Ruffled Spot Blouse – purchased through the Iconic $50.00 | Verali Celeste Tan Action $109.95

So imagine my excitement when I was looking through the Bohemian Traders new season to see a WHITE (yes I am shouting that) Military Blazer.

It took me 5 seconds to add this to my cart, I may have also added a gorgeous gingham tea skirt (you will be seeing that soon in one of my Everyday style outfit posts on Instagram).

A blazer for me is an investment piece and one that I’m willing to spend a little bit more on as I know I will be getting multiple wears out of it.

Now a WHITE blazer is a spring and summer must have in my wardrobe but it needs to be not too heavy but still have a good structure to it.

The Bohemian Traders White Blazer ticks all the boxes for me and also comes with gorgeous military style gold button details to make it stand out.

What to wear a WHITE blazer with:

  • distressed jeans, simple white tank and heels – this would be my favourite way to wear to white blazer
  • spring dress – perfect for a day at the races
  • black dress shorts, black cami and heels or wedges
  • wear the blazer over the top of a double denim jean and shirt outfit
  • try the all white look – with white jeans or pants and tee.
  • add the blazer to your favourite midi skirt – I will be adding mine to my new Bohemian Traders Gingham Tea Skirt

I was so tempted for my blog photos this week to go with my favourite combination of jeans and tank but I will save that outfit for my business trip next week.

Today I’ve added my blazer to a cute little dress I picked up from Witchery with a rewards voucher (don’t you love when you receive one of those emails – the only sad thing is that you have made quite a few purchases to have received one).

Bohemian Traders White Blazer $189.00 – I’m wearing the size 12, true to size | Witchery Soft Ruffle Dress $159.95 – I’m wearing the size 14 as I needed the extra room in the chest area | Verali Celeste Tan Action $109.95 – these shoes are super soft and gorgeous to wear

  • So glad you got this blazer. It looks all kinds of fabulous on you. I can think of so many ways to style this, so I will have to make it mine! xxx

  • Hi Karen!!! I found you on IG, and wanted to stop by and check out your blog too!!
It’s always so fun to see the women on the other side of the globe in the opposite seasons!!

Oh, I love a blazer – but I just bought a new white cape so I don’t *need* a white blazer… but need is a really fluid word, right?
Love the way you’re rocking it with that print frock, too!
