I spoke about my Off the Shoulder Obsession in summer here and how I was slow to get on the band wagon but once I jumped on there was no turning back.

Now as the cooler months are coming I was worried would I have to jump off the band wagon until next summer. I wasn’t ready I was still well and truly still in the midst of my love affair and I wasn’t ready to put on the brakes.

Imagine the joy I felt when I received a parcel from Table Eight – Rockmans and it contained a boho inspired off the shoulder dress that I had been gazing at wistfully at the Rockmans Pretty Girl Press Day earlier in the year.

This dress combines two of my favourites well actually three of my favourite things 1. Off the shoulder 2. Boho 3. Monochrome.

It was like my idea of dress perfection.

I was tempted to put it on right then and there – even though I was already dressed and running late for work. Now I could try and convince you I resisted the urge but that would be a lie.

I tried it on and fell a little bit more in love.

What I did do was resist the urge to wear it to work – this dress was too special for just an ordinary work day.

I managed to save it until last night when hubby and I went out on a mid week date night – not a normal occurrence but we had some free tickets to see the documentary ‘The First Sunday in May‘ at the Palace Cinemas.

If you have ever pored over the photos of the Met Ball you may find this interesting – I certainly did. I may have caught hubby having a 5 second snooze about half way in so maybe take your girlfriend not your partner.

I wore my Table Eight dress with a faux fur vest that I had in my wardrobe as I love to add layers as the weather cools.

Table Eight Maisie Print Maxi Print $129.99 – now for a limited time Table Eight is celebrating its 35th birthday and is giving its customers a birthday present by offering 35% off (run don’t walk this won’t be around for long). This brings this maxi down to the fantastic price of $84.49.

If you are looking for the perfect faux fur vest then check this one as part of the 35% off offer bringing it down to $64.99

Now just to prove that this fabulous dress is not a one off occurrence I have hunted down a few more off the shoulder options for autumn/winter.
