Who said winter clothes have to be filled with subdued colours of blacks and greys?

Now don’t get me wrong I will never forsake my love of black, neutrals and greys – they forever have a place in my heart.

But I’ve been on a bit of a journey to embrace colour over the last year and have been loving it!

One of the things I have discovered is that wearing colour make me happy.

I have began a real love affair with red or any shade or hue of it.

So imagine my excitement when the lovely April from MahaShe Clothing sent me the most amazing RED winter coat.

Now if haven’t heard of MahaShe Clothing it is an Australian fashion label with all their clothes being ethically made in gorgeous bold colours and patterns in pure cotton.

It is a great label for me in my journey to embrace colour and print – I will be wearing a cute little tunic dress in the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out for it.

The Billy Jacket Red is made from soft cotton canvas with a luxurious black and white striped satin lining with large decorative buttons and an off the centre zip front. It is part of MahaShe’s first ever winter range and if red isn’t your colour then it also comes in turquoise and black.

It’s the perfect jacket for wearing over your favourite tee, denim jeans or leggings and pair of boots, this is my idea of the perfect casual winter outfit.

But it can also be dressed up by adding the jacket to jeans, a pretty blouse and a pair of heels. This is suitable for so many different occasions – for me a perfect work outfit.

This jacket will definitely make me stand out from the sea of black and grey this winter and I’m going to love it!
